Kozo Issey Miyake Designer Homage Series was designed to honor Issey Miyake,  who is a well-known Japanese fashion and graphic designer in the 20th century. He is known by great at combining different shapes, materials and textures without losing the unique Japanese art style in his designs. The Kozo Homage series was inspired by his 2015 Bao Bao fashion design series, which contains a gorgeous knitting kit.

The packaging design uses three basic elements of design: lines, points and dots. These elements reflect Issey Miyake’s design style. The logotype was drawn with a black ink brush which represents traditional Japanese art style. For the color palette, the choice creamy-white and light blue colors were inspired by the woodblock print, which does not only give an old fashion but also modern feels.
